question my download speed is fast but, it seems my upload speed is seems slow what should i do? complain? or is it fine?

ya most isp's cap your upload at a very slow speed usually between 56k and 108k.
they do this to stop people from using there home connection to host servers there isnt really much you can do becuase it's in the fine print somewhere and it doesn't really affects most things you do on the net expect for uploading large files and hosting servers.

I used to have normal RR back home (well still do) and my max upload was 1mb/s which was fine b/c I never really used that much. Should you complain, nah 500kb/s up rate is a huge amount of bandwidth. I doubt you would be using that much

I don't have a speed test, because I haven't setup my internet at my current location yet. When I had RR Turbo I was getting over 2 Mb upload.


Of course here I'm looking into their Business class stuff so I can get static IPs and whatnot.

my home internet is lacking upload speed it sits around 1.3mb but at school i did a speed test on my laptop it sits around 40mb its kinda sweet i think but the download at school is only around 10mb

Remember the key here is mega bits essentially my 32.24 is really 3.2 megabytes/second which i think is good for a home connection but, my upload is lacking
