Engine Crashes

Sometimes right after starting your computer or rebooting and loading Counter-Strike: Source it crashes. This is harmless to your computer and is normal with a bit older PC's, although it does get annoying in-game. You can stop these annoying engine crashes by setting all of your details to the lowest setting by going to:

Options > Video > Setting details.

Also, you can download the latest drivers through Steam, but make sure you know your correct driver.
I hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the info. Never had this happen, but now i got someplace to refer to in the future. I have had windows do updates right in the middle of game so if you could fix that, that would be nice :D lol

No idea... but I guess we're reading between the lines.
"Most of the time" ...
That other random time your computer is going to crash, your PSU will combust, and your monitor will blow up!

LOL you edited what you said after my post. And for the record, graphics settings are considerably different. Also, any middle of the road GPU can max out CS:S. If yours can't buy a 40 dollar GPU
