Most of the Euros have never seen American football, from what I gather from their flame comments on the subject. "OMG THEY WEAR PADS WUT A WIMPZ." Uhh, yeah, if offensive/defensive linemen didnt wear pads, their careers wouldnt last a game. The amount of punishment one lineman takes in a game is unreal. Apparently they just dont get that. When a receiver catches a pass across the middle and gets cleaned out by Ray Lewis, he better be wearing pads, or he's done for the season with several broken ribs.
