STEAM!!!! I need help ASAP.

ok idk what happend i had to unistall a few games off my hard drive so i did well i reinstalled CSS but when i go to click to start it nuthing happends all that happends is that it says "papering to launch"
then that exits out and then nuthing....my friends are getting anoyed because it keeps sayen im in a game every time i click on it. and it does it on every game, my list for now is: Garry's Mod, CSS, DOD, Half Life1 & 2, and Blue Shift. I don't know what to do ive compleatly unistalled steam and reinstalled it 6 times. what do i do??

What are you computer specs? Be sure to include your hard drive.
How long have you waited before giving up?
Does your hard drive light on you computer case flicker on and off when you try to load the game?
After you click to load the game, does task manager show hl2.exe running?

i dont think specs are the reason its worken just fine on my lower end laptop
ever since 5:00pm when i last double clicked on it
and the light does flicker
and i opeand Task Manager to see whats up and it loads hl2.exe*32 then it disaperars

What is working fine on your laptop? Steam? CS:S?

By posting your hard drive specs people might be able to find out more information to help you out. To me, it sounds like there is an issue with your hard drive.

When was the last time you:

defragmented your hard drive?
scanned for viruses?
downloaded something?​

have you overclocked, it sounds like the same problem i get when i OC my cpu sometimes

Have you rebooted your computer any time since it stopped working and you reinstalled CS:S 6 times?

yea ive rebooted each time i rolled my compouter back and hopping thatlle work
