Hello,
This is my instructional thread on how to get snazzy icons like mine:

(saved the hassle of scrolling cause of mah 1920x1200
Without the WHOLE 20,000 KB of RAM USAGE(OMG!!!!!1)
The program we'll be using takes an average of about 1-3 MB of ram when only using icons.
1. First off we will need an application called Avedesk
to get this we shall go to there website:

Go ahead and click download on the given page then once finished open the .ZIP, then go to my documents, make a folder called "Avedesk" then make another called "Avedesk Shortcuts", then drag and drop everything from the zip to the "Avedesk" folder, then run AveDesk.exe then go to Step 2.
2. !Makin' Dem Icouns!
When you run Avedesk for the first time there will be a test/example "Theme"
shown in front of, go through it then come back for more information.
Done Yet? If so then go to the corner of the screen and look for the Avedesk logo and right click it then go to "Desklets Control Panel" and click it!
When the window pops click "Add a Desklet", then when the window pops up scroll down the box till you fin "PidlShortcut:" "by adread verhoeven" (it has to be this specific one) then double click it, in the top left of your screen there should be test saying "Unnamed", click and drag to the centre of the screen.
Hurraa, you've made your base to a great desktop!
3. Making them what you want
now go back to your documents folder and open "Avedesk Shortcuts", then find the the game/application SHORTCUT (if there ain't a shortcut make it) you want to be connected to your previously made shortcut/icon (sitting lonely on your desktop). once you've chosen the application/game go to your desktop and right click the "unnamed" text and go to"Desklet Properties". Now go to the tab on the far right labeled "Shortcut".
Heres the tricky part, under path you have to TYPE/PASTE the PATH to the shortcut you put in the "Avedesk Shortcuts", DO NOT USE THE BROWSE BUTTON!!!!!!!!1.
Once done what was requested above click apply and if done right then Mr. Unnamed should become named and have the same icon as the shortcut put in the shortcut folder.
4. Making them look Stylish
Here is the funner part, finding an icon, i personally like the 256x256 style but you choose something else or make it if you want.
Here is the website i usually goto to get the icons: CLICK ME!
when choosing icons get the respective size of how big you want it to be on your screen, in these instructions we wil use the size 256x256, when you find the icon you want make sure you're looking through them, when you find the one you want click "Download as PNG" then choose your size on the next page, in this we chose 256x256 and downloaded it.
Now make another folder in my documents for the png's called "Icons", then put the downloaded .PNG in this folder. go back to your desktop and right click your icon then in the appearance tab set the Height and Width to match the size of your PNG, for us the size will be 256x256, once finished click apply the go to the"Icon" tab and click the custom logo button, then press set image, navigate to the "Icons" folder then open the .PNG and press apply then ok.
If you did it correctly then you have made a shortcut with a special icon and is bigger and better and cooler and snazzier and ............ well i don't what else but i'ts there
YAY, YOU'VE FINISHED
to make another pretty much reapeat the steps exept making the folder oviously.
GO AHEAD AND POST ENDING PICS IF YOU LIKE YOU'RE FINISHED DESKTOP ALOT
