Creator of Counter Strike working on new project

ehhh this is gonna be iffy for me.
First of all its using the original engine, so its not gonna look so up-to date even though i know this doesn't matter a whole much and some of you will probably bash me for saying this.
The gameplay looks alrite considering its gonna be the same as the original CS except for the dogs and civilians

In the end, after reading that, i don't think ill be wanting to buy this.
I hope Valve actually makes another CS game though, a new one that is much better. PLEASEEEE VALVE MAKE A NEW CS!!! THAT IS EPIC

Valve has way more important things to do than wasting their time with a sequel to Counter Strike.

I would much rather see them finish the Half-Life series, continue the portal series, or develop new intellectual property.

We aren't dissing it because of the screen-shots. We are dissing it for the lack of direction, lack of originality, bad design, and the screen shots.

Nothing about this preview was exciting at all. He pretty much said this:

I am trying to remake a cheaper slightly re-tooled version of CS:S but more buggy......................AND DOGS!

It's almost as if he is trying to make a game that combines all of the bad parts of CS:S and none of the good.

I can't imagine why it was so hard for him to get somebody to fund this "project."

Also, for the record, the reason most developers don't have 1 person development teams is because it's a bad idea.

Keep in mind guys, that the people making this game is a only 5 people, so... think of it, you see that and you look at our mod with the development team with like over 20 people? Yeah, this is some hard work they are doing. Also pointing out that I would love this game to be made by them over any other, because, Counter-Strike ftw? Yeah, all those points you said Eyeless is true though. I'd still get it.

hmmmmm i REALLY confused!! It looks really realistic and such but the running and stuff looks a bit COD ish, i think if this has a clear basis on CSS and is similar i will buy it but if not, CSS for me untill something like css or a sequel comes out =) thanks for the heads up though =)
