make Gordon Freeman the best video game hero! vote now!

[FoeFighter]

So there is this competition on Gamespot for "The Greatest Video Game Hero of All Time" and Gordon Freeman (if you don't know him, vote for him anyways) has made it into the final 4. However, although his chances of beating Mario if he makes it to the final round would be slim at best, he should definitely be able to beat Link.

So, since Link has a bit of an advantage over Gordon right now I made this thread to inform all of you people in eGO that are interested to go and vote for Gordon Freeman so the final matchup won't be 2 Nintendo characters. Valve's honor is at stake here! (not really)

So we need YOU (yes you, stop looking over your shoulder!) to vote for Gordon today. If you don't feel like voting because with 5-60k votes already, it may seem like your vote doesnt count, however gordon only beat snake in the match-up before the last one by 100 votes when they averaged 64,000 votes each. so your vote can make a difference! don't hesitate!

Follow Freeman!
*Edit: PLEASE vote for gordon.

[Kevimaster]

woooo! Go Gordon!

[SilverTrinity]

I have half a mind to vote for Link, just because you didn't say "please"!

But I voted for Gordon.

[Kevimaster]

quick, edit it to say please!

[FoeFighter]

to avoid future people that vote for link because i didnt say please, I have edited it and now am asking with a pretty please and a *insert something tasty here* on top (i'm allergic to cherries)

How is he losing to Link? :/

[Tidus]

Haha, alright. You have my vote.

I could go either way on this. Gordon is awesome, but i have fond memories of the Zelda series games, back in the day.

But I voted for Gordon, just cause he's falling behind.

[Liliana]

Gordan Freemon SHALL be the winner!

[FoeFighter]

it's shaping up as Link vs. Mario in the Finals... how boring would that be?
I wish more people would poke around on forums and find threads like this and make a bit of difference in the vote...

[SilverTrinity]

Here's a better idea:

Make that exact same poll, in the eGO forums.

See who wins then.

[FoeFighter]

that would be so biased:

Gordon Freeman 97.4%
Mario 1.7%
Link .6%
Samus .3%

GORDON WINS

... wait what?

[XeroX]

Nooo Gordon is losing against Link.

[FoeFighter]

but in the last 4 hours gordon has gone up .2%! we can do this!

*insert slightly less-than-enthusiastic whoop here*

[malalla]

he's loosing

[Nero]

Voted Gordon, but he's losing by 11% D:

[FoeFighter]

Not anymore! come on peopl! tell your friends about this one! Gordon is on the Rise!

While the last post says he is losing by 11%, as of me posting this Gordon Freeman has 48% of the votes!

He only need 1,200 votes to catch up to link, so make sure you tell some people, it'll definitely make a difference!
