Well, a new halo game came out and there is no discussing about what we think of it, just threads like, "Help me get recon" or "I got recon".

I'll start. I like it much more than Halo 3 and 2, can't be sure about Halo 1. It's been too long since I played it, although it still reminds me of Halo 1(no online, not invincible, amazing as opposed to good). My favorite part has to be the new emblems. Come on, there's a Chaos emblem! It doesn't get much better than that(for W40k fans only)!

I don't think much of it. It was originally intended to be only an expansion, but Bungie ends up charging a full retail price for a game that really doesn't deliver, in my opinion.

That's just me, though. Everyone else I've talked to about it seems to enjoy it quite a lot.

Firefight makes it worth the price.

I've really enjoyed the campaign. Went through on Heroic, had little trouble. Started on Legendary, and it's kicking my ass.

It's very reminiscent of Halo:CE.

hmm, Im going to wait until I go home from college and can buy it used and $5 off at eb games

1. I have to say, the music is fantastic. I love it so much.

2. It is a little expensive, but I haven't had a chance to play firefight yet so we'll see.

3. The atmosphere for the campaign is just right...they did it so well. You get a real sense of solitude as you walk the city while playing as the rookie.

4. It should have been named Firefly: ODST

5. FIREFLY: ODST

Overall: Pretty win.

I liked it, but I'm glad I only rented it. I am VERY poor at the moment, and if I shell out $60 for a game it better have enough content to back that price. It's a good game, Halo fans will enjoy it and I am a Halo fan, but my advice is to wait until it's cheaper, somewhere in the 20-30$ range to purchase it.

I agree its fun for about...6 hours....including achievments......shorter if your playing co-op.....and the firefight is essentially a shortcut to the funner parts of the campaign :/ On the bright side all the people i know who dont wana buy it because of it being overpriced DLC i rent it out to them for 5$ :D just a way so that they dont have to pay full price for the game and i can get reimbursed on my money :D

It's funny how everyone is so quick to pass judgement on a game just because it's a 'Halo' title.

Lawl.

I hadn't purchased any of the Halo 3 DLC Map Packs, so it's a better value for me. Halo 3 is still a lot of fun -- especially considering my upgrade to windows 7 broke all of my Source games :( Oh TF2, how I miss you -- I'll be doing a complete reformat/fresh install at some point in the next month after I back everything up thrice.
