Phase One Website Updates

Unfortunately, the people responsible for these great new website graphics are also the ones who work on news posts. As such, please bear with me as I attempt to hobble together a news post on my own...

This new design is the first phase of a larger plan to overhaul the EdgeGamers website over the coming months. In this release, major website elements such as the header and footer got a facelift. Other updates include forum status icons, buttons, and rank tags. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more changes!


Please give a huge round of applause for the people responsible for bringing you these updates!

If you guys don't start using them, you and I will have problems.

Beyond this point there will be no 'disrespect' to the artists. If you have something to say about the website other then, "Hey, you guys did a great job!" If you feel the need to say anything other then that send them a private message.

Thanks for the clarification on this thread. Personally I think with the exception of one or two threads the majority of the comments have either been positive or have some form of constructive criticism. I personally don't believe that there was any disrespect on this thread.

The title of the thread may have been obvious but there was no inherent understanding that comments, questions, concerns be sent to Nurse. I honestly took it as, this is Phase One, please leave your comments here. If you've ever been deluged by PMs or Emails before I'm sure you can understand that it's not a friendly format towards precipitating a real discussion.

I'm stepping on eggshells here as I think most of the comments have been extremely valuable and that a community discussion on the website is best way we can put our ideas across.

I completely agree with the disrespect comment as people who have nothing useful to say shouldn't be saying it out in public. I think there should be polite discussion though since this, which I am glad of is a community driven website.

From what my iPod shows me it looks quite awsome so far and I say good job to everyone taking part in making ego look so much better and more professional they deserve like the best ego award plus like 66848847 casino cash LOL
 
Cool! I love the new logo. I can't wait to see the new tag logos and new website skin. Keep up the good work.
 
This looks nice but it only works on one of my computers for some strange reason lol o.O GJ

At first i didn't like the changes but I wasn't really bothered by it. The only reason I didn't like it initially because it was something different, something I was unfamiliar with it. Now that my eyes have adjusted I realize how much cooler everything looks. Nice work :)
 
Yeah. i like the new look. The one part is didnt like was the Black bars it used to have. it made the forum look crowded and small. Once we got rid of that it jsut made the website stand out more. :)

Thanks for the updates on these updates i think they make the site more professional especially the rank icons! GOOD JOB! :)
