Hey guys since christmas isnt too far away my parents would like to know what I want. Well my dad let me know what he and my mom were thinking of (cuz hes cool and does that every year) and hes like "Well give you a couple of car cuopons such as tinted windows for this blazing hot florida sun and an ipod hookup and etc and how about a new monitor. I was thinking of a 22 inch for you"

So I came across this on Newegg.

It doesnt have to be a 22" but I dont want smaller than a 19 and it has to be less than$175.

Oh will this DVI cable be able to connect directly from the monitor to my Video card? Like I can get rid of the DVI to VGA adapter I have?

Here is one that is cheaper...(link below) I like the brand better... most new monitors come with cables (I think this one only comes with a vga cable though).... hope this helps you out...

Eh Ill stick with the one I found since it has 700+ reviews compared to the LG 15. But thanks for the Input and I found out the one that I want has DVI input but no cables! So I have to get a separate cable.

The one you linked to is a better monitor. The LG has a lower static contrast ratio which translates to fewer colors displayed. Also, the built in speakers and other little features make it a good buy.

DVI cables aren't too bad to buy anyway, I think I picked one up for $10 a Wal-Mart for my monitor and it wasn't a big deal.
