INS works !

Hey there guys,

After endless months of installing and desinstalling INS, the game finally works.
The main problem was: When ever I joined a server the engine would crash everytime, so I deleted the whole directory, restarted the whole installation process with all the directory clean and now it finaly works !

So Ill be playing with you guys more often,

if you have anymore problems with that (that is crashing becuase of the egine problem) diable the music and it should work fine... thats probley what you could have done at first. its a popular problem and the disableing the music seems to work most of the time.

It sounds like a custom content crash trying to join a sv_pure server, but if he installed fresh over and over, i guess it's music bug

My ins was stable as a rock for a year, then i reinstalled windows and now it's another story. All the same hardware etc

excellent. nades may have a point but if you only just installed i cant see you getting custom content straight off

Well I'm glad your insurgency woes have been resolved. Watch out this game is as addictive as most narcotics. For me it's addictive, because you can't see who kills you, so it's like "I just have to get that guy one more time." But on the way to get him, someone else kills you, so you rinse and repeat for 20 hours a week. =p
