Okay,
Does this problem occur when you start CS:S?
What DirectX setting are you running CS:S at?
How long have you been having this problem?
Does it just happen with your gloves?

Lastly,
Please post a list of your computer specs.

If you put mat_dxlevel 81 in console or in your autoexec, every time you start CSS it will overwrite your graphical settings and change them to default, what is *recommended for your system, which could be causing problems when you force it back to dxlevel 95. so try this

1. Put -dxlevel 95 in launch options
2. Start CSS
3. Close CSS
4. Remove the command from launch options
5. Start CSS

you are now in dxlevel 95 again, and hopefully don't have a problem. if you do, then we may have to find the console commands to re enable what dxlevel 70 takes off

Junk i tryed what u said and still does not work and only when i'm in game the player modles are shinny and the floor is very bright. Direct x 9.0c. not very long
