Lets see.. we talkin DOD? I seem to remember 99.. one of the most enduring games ever imo.

wolfenstien, doom, doom ll, quake 1 plus all the mods that went with that.. the original team fortress, countless hours on that mod. ctf..etc. good times. I still have my original 3dfx graphics card i paid a ton of money back then.. lol, im convinced it will be worth something one day, lol

I played DOD when it was first released as just a "mod," then progressed to the retail release. I got sidetracked for awhile when Battlefield 1942 was first released by EA, but found my way back to DOD:S often. It's just too hard to resist the fast paced action of the game. Almost always been a player on the Edge servers as well....was a pub for years before signing up for an e. Now look at me all grown up here!

my first game was Red Alert 2, then C&C generals, then CSS, and Renegade, <<< loved that game lol, then to COD4, Then DOD, since 1996 i been playing games

my first FPS for computer was the good old Rogue Spear when i was 13ish went to my cousins to LAN party it god that was 8ish years ago me and my friends got into CSS right when it first came out and i got into DOD probably 2 1/2 years ago i hopped around from server to server getting banned for being immature to say the least till i found EGO loved the servers so i matured up only after being persuaded a bit

Started playing in 1.3b, played it all the way into STEAM, was in a couple clans and played in CAL, STA and a ladder(cant remember the name), even did a horrible season in CAL invite, where we received a good mud-hole stomping.
I had switched to BF series(BF:V & BF:2) for a bit, tried it again when DoD:S arrived, and initially hated it, all the frigging camera shaking nonsense.
Began playing it again thanks to trying out the eGO DoD servers when I was in the mood for something other than TF2, and its grown on late as of late, and become my primary shooter again.

I started playing DoD:S the beginning of 2008, after a buddy at the firehouse introduced me to it. I played on eGO servers for a while before joining the community

i started playing DOD in The WON times. If you do not remember WON, then to bad for you, it was way better than steam. DOD had been out for only a year, and was not an official mod, CS was still in beta and there were so many hackers u couldnt play without hacks, In fact, the compition was "who could have/create the best hacks" not "who was the best gamer" . When playing CS you would worry about yuour ping and FPS because 1ms could cause you to get shot of loose a kill. After a while things changed, more people found out about DOD, it became exploited. So Serria teamed up with other companies, Got a server side anticheat, But, Steam came along, And them alot of people didnt like Source DOD and quit playing. Imcluding myself.
