How to choose a house.

ive been recommended to join a house.

not sure which one to really choose.
Im really just willing to join a house big or small, that i can make look good, lol.

So if any of the house house leaders is looking for a stellar sniper, let me know. Id hate to choose a house my self. Im up for recruitment
 
I would suggest that you DO choose a house for yourself. better that you know who you are gonna be with as a group than going into a society blind to what they are all about.
 
as MOP said... go to the DAM busters where you will be recognized. @ Jones um wut hes saying is that he doesnt know anyone so I dont get why youre telling him to go elsewhere.
 
if your looking for a smaller house, id recommend the DAM BUSTERS.....or if you like kalt, then you can go to the Sewer Rats :)

We have decided to help fill other houses that need attention. He asked for a recomendation.
 
But of course... if you enjoy Orange maps, or custom maps... the Kettle Corps is where its at. :)
 
i wasnt telling him to go to any house over another guys, READ. i was telling him to look at all the houses and try to find one where he knows people before joining.
 
All R1 riders MUST join the Kettle! ;)

Lol, after reading this forum, i think i've decided to apply for a house myself...hmm...Dam Busters...KK....so many to chose from. ;)

Nah...Trackdays is where it's at MOP!

Thats where the big boys play... Willow Springs has the famous Turn 8 and 9 at over a 130 mph...

Come down. We can do a trackday at Fontana (California Speedway). On the banking you can hit 180 mph.

We'll have that Buell screaming in no time! :)
 
Lol, I really wanna go out on the track. I love draggin the Night Rod, but I'd like to take a Buell and make it race-ready. I'm 2nd in line at my local stealership to demo an 1125R. I'm thinking I may just take a XB12R Firebolt and work on it.
 
I'd wait for the new Buell 1125R. It's supposed to be off the chain.

Not much you can do with for awhile (as far as race ready). It usually takes awhile for the after market to catch up with new releases (race plastics, exhaust, suspension and brakes). But out the box you can hit a track day easy. Just remove the mirrors, tape up headlights, signals and tail light. Drain coolant and replace with water wetter (is the 1125R air cooled?) Safety wire your bolts, grips etc. (not all track events require this). You might want to invest in frame sliders.

Walla its track time (careful though...its expensive and addicting :) )

Seriously, come to Cali, we have at least 5 tracks locally (new track opening near San Diego).
 
The 1125 is an 1125cc liquid cooled motor. The problem with current Buells is they are like AIDS - once you have it, you pretty much can't get rid of it *direct quote from a Buell dealer*. But the papers I've read on the 1125R sound pretty amaizing.
 
Naw cant be riding right now, i broke my thumb riding the bike 2 weeks ago, (left thumb, and i still own online. lol) I low sided to high sided, and got thrown about 30 feet, at 80 kmh, (50 ish mph) i got some soft tires put on for draggin knee, but up here in alberta canada, at nights its geting close to freezing point, and i was out one night. and my tire lost grip, and i did might low side high side spill.

the bikes alright just right side repairs, mainly plastics, so no biggy

Draggin knee with Vrod, that thing probly drags it self at 15 degrees lol.

ya i keep hearing about the new 1125 buell, but still it only has 125 hp. Im cranking out about 185 at the crank, (not sure at wheel)

but once i get that supercharger in, Ill come drag race that Vrod , not that i dont have any doubt i couldnt beat it as i stand right now....

but as for a house. i thought DAM busters was UK based, and im canadian
 
DAM also acceptes others, like every house (I think).

Also, you should propably not choose a house that is recommended by the House Leader....that's manipulation :)
