So I got guitar hero 3 today and I must say its amazing, I played it straight to the last set of songs which are insane i might add heres the list of the last songs

8. Battle for Your Soul

"Raining Blood" - Slayer
"Cliffs of Dover" – Eric Johnson
"The Number of the Beast" – Iron Maiden
"One" – Metallica
"Guitar Battle vs. Lou" (The Devil Went Down to Georgia – Steve Ouimette)

I played for about 3 and a half hours till i got to them and then I stopped because they were crazy, I'm playing this on expert right off the bat and most of the songs I'm sight reading, the only one I have really heard is The Number of the Beast. So far I haven't got below 83% on any of the prior songs or those last ones.

The last battle is hard and my fingers really hurt so I am going to attempt it tomorrow.
Anyone else get the game?
 
Franchise looks pretty big, i'll have to mess around with it some time. I'd watch someone play just to hear the songs!
 
I played it too and its better but different
i like how after getting a 50 or 100 note streak the little pop up thing comes up. It seems easier to play than the others too
 
I got the game last night and beat it on medium real fast just to unlock all the songs only to find out that their are different songs to unlock in co-op career lol
But this is the best guitar hero to date.
so many great classics, too many to name.
the battle mode is kick ass and to let everyone know, I can beat many songs on expert with at least 85%. BTW the last set of songs I havent beat on hard cause they are way to hard lol
But yes this is an awsome game. I give it 4 1/2 stars
minus a 1/2 of star cause I cant play the devile went down to georgia in quick play.
 
My friend beat it already.
On the hardest level.

I might buy it because it looks Rad
 
Darn you guys with your fast fingers! I still can't be Freebird on hard for GH2 >_< I can't keep up with the no strum notes AHHH but ya buying GH3 on THURSDAY! btw Rockband will be better ;)
