Losing your account, and gotten it back

Well, this had happen to me for the 2nd time, but this became more serious to me when I wanted to come back to Steam Games and stuff. However, what I notice is that Steam will disable accounts if anybody does not use their account for over 2 months or so, although, what I did NOT notice is that I thought I'd be losing my own account for good. Any who, I then gotten my account back for the past 9-10 months total and get a chance to be back into Steam and eGO. I do apologize to all of you for my bad disappearance.

I so have a question to all of you: Did you by any chance lose your account? If so, was it disabled just for long term away-ness?

i've known people gone for over 3 months, and their accounts were not disabled.
Your data does not sound factual as games people have paid for are directly attached to those accounts.

I dont think Steam cancels accounts. Too much risk, because people could sue Steam for stealing their games technically.

Yeah, I don't think Steam closes inactive accounts?

Lol? It was probably a scammer saying his account is inactive and he needs to give him his info.. They dont just close accounts when you spend money on the games.. Ive left at one point for a year and nothing happend.
