Where are the helmet textures located?

I used GCFscape and extracted files from materials/models.... i found helmets, I edited it with an eGO logo and went to save it with VTF Edit, and couldnt find where it was located, not even a search could find it? But it has to be there somewhere! Where is it?

us_helmet.vtf - Is what im trying to find in the steam/day of defeat/dod folder.

just create the folder where it was located in GCF scape

for example, you found it in "materials/models/helmet"

then browse to "day of defeat source\dod\materials\models\helmet" If that doesn't exist, just create it The GFC is just a "archive" file with all the textures in it, but if it finds the same texture in the folder you create it will take that first.
