Headphones sound distorted

Early this morning my headphones started giving me this really strange sound. I don't think it is the headset because this only happens when i watch youtube videos, or other things relative online. I have reinstalled drivers, adobe flash, etc.

If anyone has any information/suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

Sounds like your getting playback, go into your audio panel, and turn off mic playback and anything else that is being playbacked.

My mic isn't isnt plugged in to my headset, that wouldn't be the problem. And it sounds comepletely different than playback. It sounds like some bad quality with a few high pitched spots with faint sounds if that makes any bit of sense.

Like always, any help would be appreciated.

What browser are you using? Do you get the same distortion on a different browser?
