well I think the real names of the weapon is copyright so they change it to the similar one

You will notice, however, that console uses proper names.

i think they just want to shorten the names a bit so it would be easier

actually i heard once a while ago that they changed the name of the guns so that it doesnt encourage kids to buy guns, cause the names are fake, or something like that.
