Htc hero is epic

No but i heard its pretty sick. I really liked the White one with Teflon coating. The thing that kinda throw the Hero off is that its not powerful enough to run the Sense UI smoothly. The processor chip in it is a tad too slow. Otherwise its a great device from what i've heard but i still don't believe it will match up to the iPhone 3GS.

There is talks of a new HTC device that will be packing a 1Ghz processor, the thing will be CRAZY FAST, can't wait to see what it is and how it performs, will definitly be able to run the Sense UI flawlessly.

Palm Pre lacks applications, since it is the first and only phone running the new palm os....so its not that great of a phone if you can't add your own apps.

Anyway I am waiting to upgrade my phone til January, which is when At&t looses its exclusive contract with apple and the iphone. If sprint (or frankly any carrier besides at&t which has pretty much the worst coverage, service, and price) gets the iphone I will get that if they don't then the hero seems like the next best choice.

Heres a new Verizon commercial that is a spoof for apples famous "theres an app for that" tag line.

Is it good? I have the touch pro original it tends to annoy me a lot. The touchflo works great but anytime i need something through windows it starts to suck.

Oh rlly? The 2+ year old iPhone has more apps than the 6 month old Palm Pre? No wai. The Palm Pre app store just went live a week or two ago. These things take time.

Yes, I love it. The only thing I can even begin to complain about is the battery life. But for 49.99 you can get an extended-life battery which is the same size as the original one.

Touchflo works flawlessly and it is set up very nicely, you can tell a lot of thought went into it. Definitely one of the nicest interfaces I have ever used. If you have anymore specific questions feel free to pm me.

I never said anything about the iphone having more applications, I just said the Palm Pre does not have much...Im sure in time maybe the Palm Pre will get more apps, but seeing how its not first in the game (unlike the iphone) and since its the only phone with the new palm os, new apps may be slow to come, and may even be buggy.

No you did not. However, when someone mentions a phone not having very many apps, they are obviously using the iPhones 20 thousand or whatever it is now as a reference point. Palm Pixi coming out soon, will be the second phone with Palm OS. And the Pre is supposedly coming to Verizon and possibly other carriers soon next year. That will probably make for a huge user base for PalmOS, meaning more apps. 6 months from now, there should be plenty of apps. And about the buggyness, I've never had a bug with the Palm Pre, and I don't see why there would be tons of bugs in apps if the phone has none. The first app Palm released wasn't buggy at all, but I suppose they could have worked harder on it to make a good impression.

Not really although the iphone has many apps but, it cant multitask so its not the best phone for applications even though it does have the best apps. Also both palm OS (pre-palmpre) and windows mobile, as well as android phone have tons of apps, maybe even more than the iphone, except the iphone has them in one fast convient place. The app store.

Posting from my hero right now browsing on this is great the eGO site even looks good on a lil phone screen lol.
