Buying New Pc

First of all i have to say i am belgian, so keep that in mind when reacting.
I want to buy/put together a new pc.
Budget maximum 4000 euro = 5934.8 us dollar
what can you guys advise me?

i am not going to buy a pc immediatly but i am saving for it (i work for it :P ).
In the meanwhile i want to hear some thoughts about it, offcourse it has to be a gamingcomputer able to play the newest games.

and with that "belgian" stuff ^^ i mean that, if you react and you know some good computer parts don't give me stuff that you can only get in america.

the only thing i have to say now is: SHOOT!

If I had $6000 to spend, I would be waiting for Intels Gulftown 6-core processor, and nvidia GT 300.

2x XFX HD5870's
And 12GB Corsair Dominator Ram

no, this is not good, i will have to have a huge koeler to cool it down. And i don't like overclocked processors :p

hmm, i am not totally convinced about the graphicscard
but otherwise some intresting parts ;)

Not really, if you don't want to overclock the heatsink + fan that comes with it will be sufficient. And to keep the GT 300's cool you'd just need a case like the Haf 932, Antec 1200, or Raven RV02.
 
I know in Canada/ US the new ATI HD 5870 is coming out at Christmas. With that budget, definitely go with an i7, or maybe even an AMD Phenom 2. Thermaltake and Antec have great cases.
 
honestly.......with $6,000 you can get anything you freaking want.
If i see any really good reccomendatios ill +1 it or something. So far, none have been that good and the ultimate performance you can get.

Heres a rough outline of what i think though if you wish to get it now with current computer parts
-Tri-Fire 5870 or even quad-fire
-An intel i7, higher than i7 920 as your budget supports it
-Multiple SSD in RAID
-12gb ram or the amount you want
-1000w PSU
-One of the limited edition Cooler Master Stackers (They look crazy ill and will be noticed by all and they are just about the best you can get)
-4 fans to put on the Limited edition Cooler Master Stacker side-panel (maximum airflow)
-Either an Asus P6T7 WS mobo or an EVGA Classified(i dont think this supports CFX though, only SLI)

If your gonna get one in the future like next year
-Wait for either the ATI 5870x2 and just buy 2 of those or wait for the upcoming GTX 300 cards and Tri-SLI those or something
-Wait for new intel processors to come out even though it might be a while

those came out already........they came out September 22, 2009 so like a month ago

are you sure?? i understand where your coming from and all and i also believe they all support crossfire but not all of them support SLI if im correct and i feel that the ones which say SLI only and no Crossfire like the other boards don't support crossfire. I could be wrong though.......either way he can afford the top of the line board and top of the line everything and still have money left over.
