Who needs professionals?

I did a little bit for a game I play called War Rock:

All of that was made from scratch.

Here is my base image from which I rendered the Buggie

And I bet they get PAID to do this

IMO, neither theirs nor yours is that great. You did a good job on the render, but other than that there's nothing really special about either.

I doubt it. War Rock is a free game, and its likely that many of the people involved with development and marketing arent expecting much of a financial reward.


Anyways, your wallpaper is just as good as theirs. Its very clean and simple. One thing though, your gradients confuse me. It looks like you have a linear gradient background, with a radial gradient over it on the top left. You need to pick one or the other, or it doenst look quite right.

I did this to re-create theirs, its by far not even remotely close to good. I can do much better, I did it to prove a point to some of the people on the war rock forums. And beliveve it or not war rock takes in hundreds if not thousands of dollars a day. I actually pay for premium and G1C.....sadly lol.

i think its cool
