exploitation on maps

now i know that glitching is not aloud, but what about an exploit like on the map dod_420_sharp_shooter, now the spots i am talking about are marked wit the black lines and arrows in the pics, all i want to know, is that are you aloud to be up there when there is no ladders to get up there at all, its done wit a series of jumps , but my thing is, it was made for you to be up there then ladders would be there, i need to know cause i was told by an ego that it no and so i tell ppl no, but another ego said yes please clear all this up Thx.:confused1:

ok that is fine then, i will not say nothing about it nomore, but i think all ego who play the sniper maps need to know that, cause i was told to get down and it not aloud, cause i was killing everyone but i am glad you cleared that up for me. Thx Duality

Council member(s) have said in the past that those spots are not allowed, and pubs have even been banned (week) for refusing to stop using it...

Possible to get clarification/consistency on this?

That's a good question - I have seen much disparity when it comes to how these things are handled. Take, for example, the arched doorway in the Allied Suzie on Donner... I've seen people kicked for sitting on top of it, but I've also heard people say that it's okay.

As cheap as that spot is, since you can shoot right down into the Allied spawn, and as much as I hate those who do nothing on that map but get up there, Duality is completely right.

It can be reached legally by a single player, and we do allow "spawn camping" on the Sniper Server due to the nature of the maps on it.

Many of the trouble spots (church ledges in Avalanche, etc.) and objects (mattress frame/piano in Avalanche, couch in Flash hotel, etc.) on the core 24/7 servers have been removed or modified to prevent exploiting/encourage gameplay, for reference.

Goth - The arched doorway on Donner is an illegal spot.
