Not just any Windows 7 but My Windows 7 Thread

We all know there have been many threads but none like mine. This one tells and shows the tale of how I got my copy thanks to Microsoft Expertzone.

Working at a certain video game retailor (GStop) we can be part of Microsoft's Expertzone which trains you and you earn points to get rewards. Only thing is rewards is anything and everything of Microsoft.So its enough to say its limited. I have just been earning points when they had a promotion going on for Windows 7 Ultimate 32 and 64 bit. All I had to do was take the right courses and training to get my certification. Which let me be honest its easy, very easy. Well after a long wait it finally came in the mail today which along with getting my USB braclet from lockerz wasn't enough along with the win 7 made it better. Here are some pictures.

I never understood the hype, other than a few bug fixes and removing the widget bar, the review video I saw seemed almost exactly like vista.

1) Win7 was COMPLETELY made from the ground up. There was no "hmm... let's change this, add that and then we're done." Windows 7 was in development even before Vista as odd as it sounds. It's been in development since 03! And a "few" bug fixes?

2) WIDGET?! Are you friggin' kidding me dude? It's called a "SideBar" that lets you add gadgets. And it was never removed dummy. This isn't Snow Leopard. This is a HUGE step for the next generation of PC's. I will be getting it OCT 22nd.

I have both and still prefer snow leopard , My leopard starts in about 16 seconds give or take 2 seconds (for the 3 times I tested), Some people get as low as 5-10 seconds, and my windows seven in about 20-23, In performance i actually get better FPS in snow leopard with both CSS and COD4. So yeah, I will say however that it is better than vista, and I am glad that i switched it from xp because it has the same performance and still looks good....And I like my WIDGETS not GADGETS!!!

Duct I actually have two of the big daddies. The one on the desk is the first one I got that was broken from the foot and the drill. I just fixed it like a week ago. Take2 had a replacement program so the good mint condition one is inside the original box protected.
