What should I buy on Steam?

Hey guys, my birthday just recently passed, and my buddy owes me a good 20 bucks or so, so he's going to gift me something on Steam. Now, there's a matter of what I should pick out. I own all versions of Counter-Strike, Half-Life, TF2, and Day of Defeat, so those are out of the question. But, hoping you guys have played some of the more indie games on there, maybe you could suggest some to me?

You have all the games I'd ever want already. I would save up if I were you, and wait until something new comes out.

I'm really not that big on FPS games other than Team Fortress 2, in all honesty, which is why I'm trying to avoid those bigger name games. That's the main reason for me posting this thread--Games like AudioSurf I'd rather be seeing. That, and it's not my money--I've got someone gifting it to me, like I said in the original post. This isn't a matter of being able to save up.

But it's not my money, I already said... I can't 'save up', I'm limited because it's a friend giving me something as a gift. He doesn't have any money on him 'cause he's out of a job, but he has some cash on his paypal.

Indie games are your best bet man...I'd recommend Eufloria...

It's due to come out 2 days from now...I personally haven't tried it, besides a similar knock off on newgrounds, but man does it look fresh .

That or just get Assassin's Creed...I say this because it's the game I got when I was bored and had 20 dollars to blow :glare:.

Heres one tip - Dont get Modern Warfare 2, cause as you prob know, its gonna be an exact port from Xbox, with no dedicated servers, so basically hackers can do as they wish, and whats more, they are gonna be charging an extra tenner.

Oh yes bioshock definitely if it is 20 bucks and you don't have it.
