I used to have skins but deleted them, what's the point of skins? They make me worse and you can't use them in scrims anyway, might as well stick to the basics.

Skins are awesome, they basically add some fun and a different feeling into the whole game, plus they look cool! I have used skins for quite some time, but some of the defaults i just cant seem to change or find good ones for em.

Laser scout = fail skin due to cheat

fail skin because people think no scoping with a scout is best and they'll constantly get pwned unless they're basically point blank, or get lucky still because no scoping is not accurate. just isn't as inaccurate as awp

Most people get them from fpsbanana.com. Some people here on the forums can make them too. Lots of them have instructions on how to load them

No, i said it doesnt work unless ur like 10 feet away and its not very accurate. When u shoot a scout, u hardly ever shoot people real close, So I pretty much only use it to center the screen.

the only reason i use a laser skin is to give me an advantage in close combat with scout, the whole point of a scout is for long range combat so if you are caught in close combat and cant switch to your pistol in time it really can help

Granted, but they do give a nice sense of variation. I never used skins until the last week or two in all my years of playing.

I do find, however, that I do better, or worse, with specific skins even though the weapon fires the same. This could be due to the mentality that the sound or look gives, influencing you. As an example, Valve's glock sound is just known as weak, but if you use a skin that gives the sound a POW, it makes you think higher of the gun, and actually makes you do better with it.

Exactly. Half the game is about confidence and thinking you'll get the kill. As I said in a different post, if you rush in afraid you will probably die but if you have the confidence to win you will kill your enemy.
