im part of the DoD divison but i have been play a whole lot of tf2 for some time now, will this effect me in promotion wise?

This is something you might want to PM a Division Leader about. That would be the best way to get the correct answer.

If you are promoted - you will be promoted Via DoD:s. You can play any of our supported games at anytime. I, for example - am a INS member, but you can find me in ANY of our servers, any time.

So, no - it does not effect you promotion wise.
