A few concerns

[Cryptex]

2 things have been brought to my attention, the first one applies to most servers, actually, but the second one is jail specific, and both of them deal with in-game names.

1st: Recently I've seen a lot of people (a LOT) put a heart (<3) by their name, and then someone's name, IE =(eGO)=™ Cryptex <3 Betalolololololol. This has seriously gotten out of hand. People have been putting all sorts of crap after their names, such as celebrities, people that aren't in the clan, etc. None of these are approved name changes, so they're getting banned.

2nd: A new jail activity called "Spartan vs. Persia Freeday" is having some modifications done to it. Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, put any tags after your name. You're on two separate teams in the first place, and people who don't want to play can just sit out, so those tags are getting banned.

If you see any of this stuff happening while your playing, TELL THE PERSON.

really? why.. me and Imdead have had <3 and our names in the servers for many months now and it has never hurt anybody.. your saying im liably to be banned if i put <3 Imdead in my tag?? i dont understand what is so bad about loving somebody..

lol but you dont( and know offence beta i respect you and i know you are a legand in ego.. but i have to state my opinion on this) but you dont need to ban someone neither for showing affection.. let it be a celeb .. player or a game?? but the decision is final.. and i will accept your terms.. im just trying to voice my opinion in that i feel like this is a mean rule and is too harsh..

When the whole CS:S division is changing their names, something needed to be done. Its not just the little "<3WHOEVER" the same thing would apply to whatever the tag be. If you guys want to put something like this in an FBG tag, I would have no problem with that, but please don't change your name.

This isn't about loving someone or showing affection, its about everyone modifying their names. I honestly don't care who you like, dislike, love, or hate, we are here to play Counter-Strike: Source.

To reiterate, because we need more Leadership in this thread, the <3Member#1 reason is two fold:

1.) Having your name clearly and readable assists us in knowing who you are, and helps us determine if someone is impersonating an admin, or not. When we have as many members with admin as we do, it's important that they keep their names the same so there's no confusion and issues.

2.) eGO is not a place to show Public Displays of Affection, we may all have our special someones, or not, but it's no ones business in eGO. It's great for everyone if you've found someone, but eGO does not want to know.
