Problems with cod4

ok, so i got 2 problems there that big of an issue but if u can help thanks.

1) my chat while i play is all the way at the bottom left hand corner blocked by the team score as well as the kills people make, don know how it got there but it is and i hate it cause i got to press tab to read it.

2) this has really to do with xfire, but when i was first play the game it was fine but now i cant take screen shots and i cant read messages with scroll lock + X.

if anyone has a solution to either of these im all ears if not just ignore, thank you.

Try completely reinstalling, but be sure to back-up your profile. And then re-patch it with the 1.6 patch then the 1.7 and it should work then.
