On a lighter note, does anyone yet know if MW2 retail is going to have Steamworks support? By that I mean will you be able to register it on Steam if you buy retail(Like Dawn of War 2). They did mention that MW2 would have lots of Steam support...

It should try to look for Steam on your computer, and install it if you don't have it. Then it should simply be on your Steam game like any other Valve game.

Oh, and does anyone know why it releases a day late on Steam?

if they put up false info, im pretty sure you can be sued for false statistics. but face it, all of IW's cod have been a hit. so im sure it is the best selling game on there right now. but, i always play single player most of the times, so im cool with it.

after the price is lowered that is, MUHAHAHAHAHAHA.

and lets face it, boycotting against IW? try again. its like trying to boycott windows 7. i wont say it cant be done, but ill say it has a high failure rate.

i didn't preorder, but i was going to buy it, the dedicated servers totally made me change my mind. oh well, that means i can get assassins creed 2 on time!

You know what I like too? People assuming that people complaining about the game will still go and buy the game eventually. $60 or so for the console, yes. But for PC? No. It's always been $49.99 as far as I can remember. Hell, Borderlands and L4D2 are going to be $49.99 as the full price for PC. Why does Modern Warfare 2 deserve to have a higher price?

The only thing that can convince me to buy Modern Warfare 2 is to bring dedicated servers back. That's the only reason I would shell out 60 bucks for MW2, after hearing how the game is, but without dedicated servers, it's a waste of my money and I could save up for something better. Matchmaking fails. And if you agree that Modern Warfare 2 should have match making for PC, I have one question for you. What are you doing on a PC gaming community that thrives on dedicated servers?

gg no re, I will be happy with my Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. At least THEY care about the PC community. It seems IW has lost touch with their roots - CoD1 for the PC.

EDIT: Aww, what's happening MW2? Not doing so well in Steam's Top Sellers, even with that huge banner on the store page? lolwut

I'm not a fan of the COD series. The sad part is that they are pretty much excluding PC gamers. Console players are the ones who are always taken advantage of, but without dedicated servers, I might as well play on a console.
