Killing Floor Help

As soon as i got the game about a month ago ive always been having this problem. every time i join a server it says loading for a few seconds then it goes to "killing floor (not responding)" then a few seconds later it goes to "killing floor" then it goes back to "killing floor (not responding)". It repeats like this until i force shut down the game with task manager. this doesnt always happen, but mostly happens when i try to join a server. please help someone.

The following is a list of ports used by Killing Floor. Make sure they are open in your router/firewall. (You will need these to host a listen server)

7707 UDP/IP (Game Port)
7708 UDP/IP (Query Port)
7717 UDP/IP (GameSpy Query Port)
28852 TCP/IP and UDP (Allows your Server to Connect to the Master Server Browser)
8075 TCP/IP (Port set via ListenPort that your WebAdmin will run on)
20560 UDP/IP (Steam Port)
