I'm playing on noobsalad with the AWP. It's not a grand weapon, doesn't take too much time to get good at it. Lets just say if you're going to AWP and you want to be good... be good with a deagle too. I've been using an AWP for about 2 days, and am doing about 1.7kdr with it.

IMO, the awp is the most noobie gun in the game and I'm glad it's unusable on the majority of eGO servers.

+1, i thought i was pretty good with an AWP... then i played in Source Competative and i was WOW, i suck... then i played against Rayne and i was like WOW... I suck WORSE than SUCK xD (Slooker too)

No, it takes skills to use any gun in the game in general.

As realism goes, it's dead on.

But, for me it was way to easy to get kills and felt like it was unfair so that's why I think the scout is better. Not to mention most people use it on servers that allow it.

i prefered the AK in my CS:S days because you only need 2 shots to kill someone
just aim the head!
its not called the headshot machine for nothing
the m4 is..how to say uhm
like a starter weapon to get the feeling for a good head aiming

ak is much better at long range due to the high energy explosion, if you will, out of the barrell. Great for single taps. after that you need to hold the recoil down to allow for the energy burst.
