BTW, how to get screenies like that, is go in game, right click on the weapon in your inventory, click save screenshot, then go to your documents - my games- borderlands - willowgame - screenshots, and they should be there.

Last night I found a nice blue double-barrel shotgun that does almost 1000 damage per shot if I'm close enough. It's only level 13 too.

I've also got a purple combat rifle that does 65 per hit, but holds 83 ammo per clip.

Before the blue shotgun, I was using a level 5 white (normal) shotgun that did around 100 per hit, but instead of pellets, it shot rockets. I want to find a purple version of that sucker that's higher level. Rocket shotguns are awesome.



Has anyone found any kind of bank or stash in the game yet? Half the fun of games like these is collecting awesome stuff to trade for more awesome stuff with other people.

i have a 450 damage shot gun, a 550 damage rocket launcher, over a 1000 health, and over 600 shield with health regen on it.

Wait till you get around level 24 then you will see some special weapons. Remember play with 3 other players for the better chance of finding the better items.

yeah its easier/faster to level up since enemies/quests garner more exp points but are lvl up too, you can also trade/exchange with other peeps that way and join on quests easier too that garner more moolah/exp pts.

but when you play with friends...that problem is solved

plus when one person grabs cash it is not split but goes to all in the group, same goes with cash/exp pts for completing quests together. plus one class/person may have a certain type of gun already or may need certain type of ammo that u dont need so the loot can be spread out that way.

My tip of the day: If you want some fast money and good loot raid New Haven with you get there. You will get a crap load of items.

I would also like to point out avoid duping any items because you may lose your save game, get your skill tree reset.

I got an alien sniper rifle recently with infinite ammo, though it technically has a recharge rate. Kinda slow, but still.

So, I finished the game, and realized I hadn't seen any of the awesomeness-crazy-ga-zillion possibility guns Borderlands reputedly has. I did get the one alien rifle (the one that says 0100101001101010) but didn't like it. I thought I did a pretty non-linear play-through; that is, I didn't just follow the main quest while ignoring all the side missions. Guess you just have to be lucky to find the elite guns?

Anyways, these are the best I got in the game:
