overclocking

hi,
ok ive the following problem
im from germany and if i play on german servers or european servers i get 160+ FPS (without fps_max XX)
but when i play on eGO servers with my regular fps_max 81
i get 80 fps only on some maps like egypt or in spawn areas
but if im on my fave gravelpit i only get 40 FPS when the server is full and 50 when its semi full
and that can drop to 20 FPS
im running TF2 on high grafic settings
no AA
no dynamic range (because i dont see any difference between having it off and on full/on)
trilinear filter

my system

Win XP
AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core 4x2.2 GHz
2x ATI Radeon HD 3870 in Crossfire

atm ive clocked it to
810 MHz GPU clock
970 MHz Memory clock

and made a total plus of like 10 FPS

does anyone know how far i can go?

the temperatur of the cards is 42? C in normal and 52 ?C when im playing
(107 Fahrenheit in normal and 125 Fahrenheit while playing)

The issue may not be overclocking, but the network having to swim across the water...

yea that is the reason. Its just more far away, to texas. I have the same problem. I have like 180-200FPS on dutch servers. On eGO servers i got 90 i think. But nothing to worry about.

but on some US servers like the FuG servers i dont have such a drop
