Alright so I been thinking about getting this game for x-mason the PC. I have the first one for PS3 and I enjoyed it. I was wondering with my computer spec would it be able to run it?

Processor: AMD Phenom (tm) 9550 Quad-Core Processor 2.20 Gz
Memory (RAM): 5.00GB
NVIDIA GeForce 9300GE

I think both of them run on the same graphics engine. So basically if you can run MW you can run MW2.

The texture resolutions and model ply counts have increased, standard stuff, so nothing is drastically different. The exact specs are as follows:

o OS: Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista (Windows 95/98/ME/2000 are unsupported)
o Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor or better supported
o Memory: 1 GB RAM
o Graphics: 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT or better or ATI Radeon 1600XT or better
o DirectX?: Microsoft DirectX(R) 9.0c
o Hard Drive: 12GB of free hard drive space
o Sound: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
o Internet: Broadband connection and service required for Multiplayer Connectivity. Internet Connection required for activation.
o Co-op/Multiplayer Hosting: To host Co-op or MP matches, a 2Ghz dual-core or better processor is recommended.

Your graphics card is good.
Your CPU Clock is too low, but the quad setup might save you.
Your RAM amount is good.

As long as you meet the other requirements, you're good to go.

Alright thanks. I dont want to buy the game then it run slow and everything.

I really hope my computer can run it. I have:

AMD athlon x2 53 4200+ 2.21Ghz overclocked @ 2.59Ghz
Sapphire HD 4870 DDR5 1GB
2GB in Dual channel.

What you guys think? Can i run MW2? :P hope so :)

That's the knife's edge right there. Of course, if you notice problems, you can always tone the settings down a bit.

Well, a lot of us are NOT buying the game because IW screwed us over with the Lack of Dedicated Server support. If you plan on playing it on the PS3 or 360, by all means, get it. The gameplay and such won't change from what it was before. But for the PC, I would hesitate to buy a game where the company screws over its primary and first gaming audience.

In regards to your setup, you should really post up what RAM you're using (DDR2 800MHz, for example), but the video card itself can answer the question. You WILL Lag and have very bad FPS. The 9300 GE is a budget video card. I honestly recommend anyone playing MW and MW2 for the PC to use at least a 8800GTS 320MB video card for pretty good fps that won't interfere with your gaming.

*Disclaimer* You can get a lower video card, but at expense of graphics. MY preferences says thats not worth it.

And, I'm still getting the game. Regardless of what everyone else says. It's gonna be fun either way.
