borderlands looks sick but why is it only co op for multyplayer? i think it would be beter wih a deathmatch

co-op works just that need to port forwarding. A few of us played co-op just take time to set it up.

The games awesome, and it is indeed sick looking.
And as its been stated there are arena places for fighting against your friends.

It doesn't just look sick, it IS sick. I haven't tried online co-op yet. Last night was Borderlands Co-Op night on Live but I had to work. Maybe next time.

Worst excuse to uninstall a epic game.

Forwarding ports takes 3 seconds, i've been playing online since day one.

Every game on the planet can be pirated, if you play online it's not like you can tell the difference between someone who pirated the game and who bought it.. they act the same. They aren't some "EVIL" people...

It shouldn't even matter, since it's supposed to be played with friends.


Also the game wouldn't be better with a deathmatch.. thats not what the game is for. It's a RPG/FPS co-op game, I don't want another deathmatch game. That's like asking for deathmatch in diablo 2, you obviously don't get the point of the game.

There is arenas which is basically deathmatch you can play with your friends throughout Pandora. Also you can duel them at any time.

yeah the only problem with the online part is trying to join/invite..hopefully they'll fix/find a way to use it properly for those who can't.

nice to know about the arenas and that cartoon style graphic is supposed to be some new graphic engine i think it looks good. just cant afford any games right now.

You can go to the arena with your friends ( for the Deathmatch ) And the Co-Op multiplayer is awesome. I sugest you to buy it

I have only played it for a few hours and i freaken love it, the cell shading is sick, and the RPG elements are great, what scripted parts i have seen are real good, the writers for the dialouge in this game are actually funny.
