Halloween Hat Giveaway?

Hey i was playing on a random floodzpone_2 yesterday and something weird happened. i was on the server for about a minute when i got my first hat. I was really happy . But then 2 more minutes later; a SECOND hat came up. then another 2 minutes later a THIRDDDDD CAME UP. Me and about 4 other guys in the server had this happen. Do any of you know what its about? (if your wonderin what hats they were; Snipers Yellow Belt, Snipers Pro Hat, and Demo somethin hat, and then the halo which no one cares about) And has this happened to you guys?

Yeah, there have been bouts of crazy hat drop rates lately.

I obtained 4 hats that day playing black mesa. Scout's hatless hat, Bonk Helm, Soldier's stainless pot, and engineer's cap.

This happened to me when the hats first came out. I hate to break it to you, but you will most likely lose all but one of them and you don't chose what that will be. That's how it happened to me

The whole hat drop thing is so unfair to begin with. Some people have a bunch of them and others get none.

never had it happen to me i found my first hat the tyrants helm last week in the 2fort regular spawn server but thats it
