Steam account got hacked....

Hey guys just wanted to let everyone know that last night my steam account got hacked, so if I am seen on any servers doing anything inappropriate than just know that that is not me. I am currently going through the process of recovering my account and will hopefully have it back before the end of the day.

I already got hacked by a website, it was LIKE a steam website, everything was same, and I enter my username and my password, and BAM, someone tryed to enter in my account ... The website url was finishing with ( .tk )

Ya it was that same website. Some guy with an eGO logo asked me to join a steam group and when i typed in my stuff boom! so just watch out for this guy.

His mistake wasn't the password, but not verifying that the website was not an official steam site. A lot of people fall for this trick and its not because their incompetent.

Many people aren't as experienced with the computer. Therefore a simple miss in their observation like the .tk ending is possible. I seen this happen to a lot of people on myspace/facebook going to imitation websites. There are also ways these people hide the address.
