I killed this buck with iron sights. I got this gun and did no adjusting to the sights and have bagged at least four or five deer without touching anything on the gun. When i shot him he did run about 100 yards. Got him in the lungs. If any of you guys know what buck fever is i was shaking all over my body for a good ten minutes.

You should consider a European style mount. It would look great and much cheaper!

Also, for those who don't know - the .50 cal he is talking about is an old style muzzleloader, not the modern style .50 cal you are thinking of!
