I got bored tonight after the Admin Abuse event and took some demos that I made from earlier tonight on flash and cut them into a video. I'm terrible with video editing and this is my 1st video ever haha, I spent maybe 20 mins on it and thats it haha.

If anyone is good w/ video editing, what program are you using?


Some observers will notice the sniper skin comes up quickly after I switch to it but I still cannot fire. Its some weird error with the skin that occurred after the palermo update (it can be found here on FPSbanana, warning though, it causes some odd error to come up in console when its in view). Also my allies all look like solid snake, it makes me chuckle!
 
that was pretty epic dude and remind me to never play with you on flash or anything other then ava cuz that seems to be the only map im good at :P
 
Good stuff here. Like Soma, I got a little freaked when the Desert Eagle came out, but it was still cool.
 
maybe if I had those skins I could play just as good :)

nice shots man, most people use Sony Vegas Pro to clip source videos but it's not free and it only comes with a 30 day trial. It's also got a bit of a learning curve but you can do some pretty incredible stuff with it. Next time at least turn off your net_graph lol, but I like videos with the hud drawn because it's a What You See is What You Get type of video, you're seeing exactly what the player saw when they made the shot. Oh, and nice skins
 
Thanks for the compliments guys, heres the Desert Eagle skin that you all want. It replaces the p38 luger for the axis, (comes with custom sounds but i dont use those):

Haha yea I'll remove the net_graph, turn on hdr and all that cute stuff next time but this was more of a "can I even do this?" kind of test. I'll have to look into Sony Vegas, sounds like it'll make this alot better than windows movie maker.
 
also I'm curious how big is the raw video file and which codec did you use to render it?
 
Not sure how big the raw files were cause I clipped down some of the video I used. The total unedited clips that I have were about 4.3 GB, I dropped my in-game res to 1280x720 then used fraps at 60fps to record the scenes I wanted from the demo, cause i knew if I just let it record it would've been huge!

As far as the codec not really sure, I used windows movie maker and after i clicked publish I selected "windows media 720p HD (5.9mbps)"... its wmv but really I dont know more than that.

as for the skins...lol i dont like skins.

if you want to do some serious video making sony vegas is fantastic. thats what i use.

Nice video duality. Makes me want to make one. I don't like using skins, since it can have errors like you mentioned. Otherwise, those were pretty nice skins.

The deagle was shocking, and kind of funny since you know how those pistols fire.
