you make everyone look like noobs
you make almost everyone look like noobs
Well I do a process called "quick-switching" after i shoot, I hit #2 to switch to my pistol then #1 to switch back to my sniper. Its just a hair faster between shots and if you do it instantly after you shoot you regain movement speed a split second faster as well.
For some reason that skin I was using for the K98 sniper (which I use the default now) made it look like it was ready to fire again but its not, it was an animation issue with that skin. I still have to wait for my character to pull it back out before I can scope and shoot.
Ok, yeah I quick switch too, but it must just be the skin then. You never know anymore though, lots of people use scripts instead of old fashioned quickness. Ron I also use q to quickswitch to pistol and back, I don't think it should matter if you use the number keys or not.
I don't think it matters why he does it I'm just curious how he does it, e.g. which finger, etc. I don't think it's the skin, either, if you practice enough you can quickswitch while the shot's muzzle-sprite is still glowing and before the shot-sound has even finished. Too quick and you'll have registration errors (the shot won't fire sometimes or the sprite/sound will go off and no shot will be delivered).
True, its not the skin... I am using the default one again and its no different.
I use my middle and ring finger to quick switch, alot of people think its weird but I'm so used it. I also use tab to jump capslock to prone(or walk in css) and left shift to crouch, its a good pinky workout.
