Call of Duty 4 Need help

hello I am having some problems with my Call of Duty 4. When I try to connect to a server it will most of the time (4/5) after loading say Server disconnected and the only option I have to click is ok. And I can retry there. It also does this always whenever the server changes maps. It does not just happen on eGO servers. I have the 1.7 patch and punk buster is updated. So if you can help me please do.

You can pull up the full console by pressing shift+` (the tilde key). See if you can find any information and report back here.

It just says error connecting to server. It says everything downloaded fine punk buster was fine but it says error connecting to server.
