Perfecting the quick shot ... in real life called a "snap shot" off hand standing. I must say Ron I'd like to make a video of me practice shooting with my rifle ( .308 Win ) at the gong ( 8 inch steel round plate ) snap shots @ 200 yds at the outdoor range here in Abilene, TX. Sarge_uk can attest to it, he was watching. It is hard to make those shots in real life, but just to show that with " practice " it is very possible, real life and in game. I always try to practice for speed and accuracy, pushing myself to do better.

Very nice video Ron Paul! I've notice several no scope kills in this video, both from close and medium range, some of which are very impressive. Just wondering if you use a certain technique or is it something you get good at overtime?

Can't really say there's a technique involved, I just got used to feeling where a crosshair should be and shots mysteriously land on target. I'll say one thing though, every respawn as a sniper I'm trying to no-scope a barrel or a sign somewhere and doing it quickly as if it were a real enemy. I think that helps, at least 3 shots a respawn multiplied by thousands of respawns is a lot of practice.

Actually, the first video I made was in 2004 and it was a lot of no-scope headshots in Counter-Strike using the scout, so, it is something you get better with over time. You can search my youtube channel for that video which also has some decent AK/AWP/m4 kills and a lot of them were actually in cal-m competition so it's a little more legit. That one is horribly edited though, just horrible. Clipped the bmps and used VideoMach 2.something, ancient stuff.

Ah what the hell, it's not like I can hi-jack my own thread. Here's my CS video pre-source, don't think less of me :P:

youtube it man! sounds pretty sweet, all I've got is a couple NRA certs for small bore on the rifle team in high school lol, 15 yards maybe?

Dot on the screen, works every time! :glare:

Seriously though, that video is just about what it's like to play against him. It's unfair, and that's why we put a ONE MILLION CASINO CASH bounty on his head. Ron's insane with just about every weapon because he knows where the shots will end up, and like Duality, does the slide-strafe snipe perfectly. The only way to have a chance is to flank him, and you can't exactly do that in the wheelhouse of Kalt, especially when he's got a squad of guys backing him up.

Just ask a few people i play Kalt with, i seem to find ways to breach their flank and get off some knuckle sandwiches....except he seems to have gone forward in time and has stolen technology from TF2 and has a mobile level 3 sentry gun planted on his 6

Your are insane Ron Paul. You can change the wind of the game by yourself! See ya in kalt man and nice vid btw!
