I JUST put in SOME NEW PARTS AND IM SO EXCITED I HAD TO TELL SOMEONE OR SOMETHING!

before i had the xfx nforce 750 a sli mother board with supports 2 pci exsprss g cards.
i had 2 xfx geforce 9600 768 mb cards sli connected and amd athalon dual core processor. 750 watt power supply, 500 gb hard drive and cooler master system with 4 gigs of mem.

i just installed the : xfx nforce 780i sli motherboard that supports 3 sli connected g cards, another single xfx g force 9600 768 mb card to go with the other 2 i already have, the amd phenom 64 x4 processor, another 4 gigs of mem ( 2 ddr2 strips at 4096) to go with my other 4 and another 500gb hard drive. so that makes it
3 sli connected xfx 9600 gso 768 mb g cards
2 striped 500 gb hard drives
8 gigs mem
and phenom quad core processor
let me know what ya think right now its flying and i love it. i dont think i will upgrade until they make a 4 pci card sli connected mother board. and i have room for another hard drive.

I thought the nForce 700 chipsets were for Intel CPU's only?

Oh, and there already is a 4-way SLi board, it's called the EVGA x58 Classified 4-way SLi

Yea they make 4 way SLI boards.

I wonder how those 3x9600 perform. Would like to see some benchmarks.

lol everyone always posts "screenshots or it didn't happen"
Can't we just trust him???
All i wanna know is the performance of the 3x9600 gso but i could probably just google it up.

This was posted in the eG section earlier. And I mentioned that 9600's can only run 2 way SLI and now I just noticed that the motherboard is Intel only..

yes very suspicious indeed.....they only support 2way SLI

Well, sucks....you bought a useless 9600, maybe you can make it do physX but i don't know how helpful only a 9600 will be.
