well today i was playing insurgency with some guys that where puting porn spray and the other was cursing so much, i warning they about that they keep...

i dont remember the names....i told them to stop and i start tk them...and i got banned....i couldt get their ID becuase i cant open console....

All right, the first thing you need to do when there are problem players is check your friends list for any admins that can come in the server to help out. It's expected that ANY admin will drop their game to help you out.

Second, starting to TK them does not represent eGO very well. That's never an appropriate response.

Third, to open console you need to go to Options -> Keyboard -> Advanced and enable console. From then on you will be able to open it with the ~ key. (Unless you're European, I don't know what you have to do there.)

Once you can open console you'll want to use "status" to write get their steam IDs, condump to get a text file of the console log (and their steam IDs) and get screenshots of them spraying it so you can fill out a ban request.

Thanks for trying to handle it, but we've got more appropriate and effective methods for these problem players.

well all we can do is tell them to stop as we cant see who sprayed them on INS (unless you watch them spray it. Just cover it up the best you can and warn all players about it.

same key or if your key board is like mien it might be 2 or ` it cant make its mind up keeps swapping my keys around.

ahh you~ isnt working, ok il try figure something for you.
ok iv got it for you but you may not understand it so im guan just upload the CFG file.

ok what you need to do is download this .TXT file, when thats done you need to open it in notpad then go to file>save as> then go to INS>Insurgency>CFG*
at this point you need to change the file name from "config edit.txt" to "config.cfg" when you press save you will get a message saying do you want to overwrite click yes.

you now have your console bound to ` hope that makes scene to you if not pm me and il make a picture tut or find me in vent.

*im leaving out full path.
