Alright everyone I am going to college after a break from gradation high school in May. I never taken my SAT at all. I only taken THEA which after studying 5 mind before I actually took the test and did decent. So getting back into the habit of studying and relearning what I learn in High school going to be hard for me. All I am asking if you have any advice when you took the SAT. Like Hint on what you did best way of study habits and other resource information. I am going to take it on Jan 23, 2010. Also give me confidence wish me luck cause these last few weeks been rough on me.

There really isn't any great to way to study for them. If you've taken standardized tests in the past then you should know how the SATs look.

Anyway good luck with them.

I don't know what to tell you, here in PR all we had to take was the College Board, which I guess is comparable to the SATs. I paid X amount of money for preparatory classes, but they didn't do much good.

I think maybe the best route since you took a break after high school would maybe to take one of these types of classes, or maybe get a tutor. Whatever you decide to do, best of luck! :-)

There are good ways to study. Go to your local book store and get an SAT Prep book.

Also, when you're taking the test, remember that you LOSE points when you get an answer wrong, as opposed to not earning or losing any points if you leave the question blank. So if you have absolutely no idea on a question, and you can't make an educated guess, leave it blank. Do this for only a few questions though.
