I bought a new PC with Windows 7, but their doesn't seem to be a driver update for my old wireless internet adapter (AT&T plug&Share). Anyone with Windows 7 know of an adapter I can purchase, i.e .Linksys Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter WUSB600N that they know for sure is compatable?

did said driver work for Vista?

because all vista approved software is meant to work with windows 7 so that old driver should still work

I was using XP and the last modification day for the Adapter i have is 2005. I'm going to purchase another adapter, but want to make sure that the product is Windows 7. The HP support center tells me the Links adapter is not Windows 7 supported even though it is supported by Vista. Still looking for ideas.

Win 7 wireless adapter.

Hey Solnav,

I actually have a Linksys dba cisco (WRT610N) and it works well. The only problem is I'm using a WUSB600N adapter, and, it has some issues. I'm using it on an HP DV8000CTO Laptop and I only get about 50 feet max on a good day. Maybe 35 feet or less if we're talking through a wall. I'm not really using the simultaneous dual band, however, it's nice to know it's there. Any driver that supposedly works with Vista SP1 is apparently supposed to work on Win 7The laptop I'm using is Win 7 32 bit. So much for the praises of mimo.
