Opinion on College Software Downloads

Hey I need your take on this:

At my college (well grad school), which is the Keller School of Management, which in turn is part of DeVry University, we got this section where we can download Microsoft software, and that's where I got my copy of Windows 7 Professional 32-bit for my laptop. I can also download Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, but my question is you guys think this would be two separate licenses or one tied in? I want to get 64-bit for my PC but I'm afraid if install it and all of a sudden I don't have a license for it, i'd be pretty mad.

One Windows, one licence. All Windows OS software are one per machine. So, if you get a new one, you'll get a new licence for it.

Only thing is if your school has their own policy on getting more than one OS from them. *shrugs*

I think this would be better directed towards the people at your school who are in charge of the technology or where you download it from

it would be per each os, we have the same program at my school. Unlike the retail copy they still separate the 64 and 32 os's so you get different keys. Besides if it's two different downloads you'll get two different keys.

Yeah, I just downloaded and installed Windows 7 64-bit on my desktop. It was two individual copies. Woot!
