Just bought the game on Steam based on videos I watched, as well as reading quite a few reviews of the game. I'm about to start the game tonight and play through as much as I can through the weekend.

I'm curious to know if you guys want a review of this game or if you're not interested.

Also, if there is a review format you feel is the most reliable format to get the information you need, let me know. I'd be happy to review in a preferred format.

Feel free to post any questions about the game you want answers for as well. I'll do my best to answer them.

If you guys want the review, I'll update this thread with it as soon as it's finished. Otherwise I'll just be posting it over at GameKrib.com as a blog post.

I'm interested in it, but what troubles me is actually controlling the different characters. I'd be fine with one main central character, then maybe telling the others what to do. But don't you totally take control of them?

From what I've seen the character control is like other Bioware games. You control a single player and give orders to your party.

I played it a lot on 360 and it's pretty sweet. It's like a mix between oblivion and fable. My friend can't stop talking about the friggin' game!

If I had the money I'd buy this game. There's my review. But seriously, if Bioware made it, I tend to like the game.

i have already logged over 100 hours into the game have almost all the acheivements for pc and finished 3 full stories and 2 partial ones i am working on

I love the fact that u can do sidequests that will actually affect the ending recaps in each area

haven't gotten too far into the game so far, but i have played around with different characters. Love how they all have their own origin stories, looking forward to playing through all of them.

maybe a review of the different origin stories, and your opinions on each? best to worst stories maybe?

Out of curiosity, did you read the review I posted?

Yep. I did read your blog. And it was well written. I just like to review games, and I also review them for GameKrib, so I need to write one anyway. I actually asked if there was a general interest here because I had seen that there were already a couple floating around. And from the looks of it, there is still a need for another.

LOL, no problem. I'd like to see your review for it too. It's always good to see how other people react to games, particularly blockbusters like Dragon Age.

Just spent a good 8 hours playing. I'm in love with this game. Simply incredible. I'm considering writing the review piece by piece as I complete things in the game, but first I need to tear myself away long enough to write said pieces.

All of the Origin Stories have been incredible thus far. I'm intrigued by the Origin Stories of all the different races. Especially the Dwarves with their drastically different world than what we usually think of when thinking of Dwarves...

The origin Stories will be my first section of the review. Hopefully sometime tomorrow.

The Elves too, as they aren't the high immortal beings, but second class citizens just barely above being slaves.

I posted about this game a few months ago and was quickly told my expectations were too high and that it wouldn't come close to the classics like BG and BG2. Well it is now safe to say that my expectations were NOT too high and I am very pleased with the final product.

can you play the game like co-op kinda and with friends?? like play through it with 3 or 4 of your friends??

A little word of warning for anyone who is just starting to play the game.
You WILL find yourself trying to stop playing after convincing yourself that "Just this part through, then I'll stop."
So be prepared, Dragon Age: Origins is a highly addictive game and you will lose MANY hours of sleep playing it.

P.S. I love the game <3
