Server connect issues

everytime there is a map change on css or tf2. i get the beginning screen etc but then it stops...

i cant play on or something the escape button etc doesnt work..

so i hit ctrl-alt-del for the control panel. the hl2.exe doesnt use any cpu then,

i have to quit that proces or i cant do anything whit my pc.

can anyone help me whit this
